(New) Nintendo 3DS (XL)

The 3DS would be the last console that would ever be gifted to me, as this was the year I was entering adulthood. When I got it, it didn't feel as special to me as the DS or the DS Lite, but I still appreciated the gift. Unfortunately, I didn't end up playing it much. It wasn't until the New 3DS came out that I ended up care about the console and playing it a lot more, even buying a good amount of games. Even years later, with the modding scene going strong, it's a staple of my gaming collection; one of the best social handheld devices I'll probably ever use.
